Excellent border for beds or walkways.

Dark green, grass-like foliage; purple or white flowers in spikes like hyacinths. The purple flowers bear quite a resemblance to grape hyacinths

Liriope is an excellent ground cover, especially in shady gardens. Widely used to edge beds and walkways. Often seen ringing trees and planted on either side of a sidewalk or pine straw path. Ideal shape-defining plant in the landscape.
