The Cat palm is very useful in the landscape. This palm is quite cold hardy in South Florida and is good for foundation, hedge, or mass plantings.
Cat palm produces suckers, so give it plenty of room to spread. It makes a lovely complement to other tropical plants like Bird of Paradise or Ti/Red Sister.
