Many beautiful hybrids of Anthurium exist;
very popular in Florida Many Anthuriums are grown for their very showy, highly decorative spathes, the most colorful in the aroid family. These are called "flamingo-flowers." Others are cultured for their decorative leaves. As specimens in frostless, shady spots outdoors, or in pots, anthuriums are greatly admired. Flamingo-flowers, noted for their beautiful keeping quality, are popular corsage subjects. |
